Nine Months

January slowly came, but quickly went.

February leaped right in; but, after 29 days, retreated.

March arrived standing, but departed bent.

April confidently appeared and then, afraid, receded.

May advanced, but later fled with my 22nd year.

Five months dissipated; it’s barely midyear.

June approached blossoming, but left withering.

July withdrew shortly after registration.

August progressed before retrogressing.

September is developing and will reach termination.

Nine months will soon have passed.

Three months have not been surpassed.

Very soon 2016 will reach its end.
